Elaine is wonderful teacher. The atmosphere on her classes is so friendly and joyful that it helps to understand better. At first I went to her lessons once a week and can't say I felt something changed with my body. Later I started to go two times a week and probably could feel a difference.
"Elaine's Yoga classes have reduced recovery time between matches and training sessions allowing me to play with fewer injuries and play at a higher intensity throughout a tough season . She has found the perfect balance between pushing me and knowing how to relax a sore tired body"
I have been attending yoga with Elaine for about 25 years. She is an excellent teacher but I also count her as a friend. She is very knowledgeable after her years of teaching and learning about yoga and it’s benefits and has vast experiences here and abroad. I highly recommend Elaine and even through these tough times and difficulties, has managed to continue to teach via zoom which has been a huge saviour!
I have been attending Elaine’s yoga classes for about ten years now. She is a very experienced, knowledgeable and professional teacher and her lessons are always enjoyable and beneficial. She is very encouraging of everybody regardless of their level of yoga. You always leave the lessons feeling more relaxed and upbeat.

I found Elaine’s Toga studio years ago when I was visiting Finchley. I have been to her classes on every visit- and now every week because it’s on zoom. She is knowledgeable, caring and really pays attention so she can help each student get the most out of each class. I am in Los Angeles, California and am so pleased to be able to attend Elaine’s classes. I recommend them to everyone- beginner through advanced.
Elaine's yoga is amazing- it is both stretching and relaxing. Its great for strengthening and toning. Elaine is so welcoming and friendly and upbeat that you can't come out of a session feeling anything other than great.
"In August 2014 we both visited the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune. Elaine has ignited my desire to practise yoga and after attending 2 classes per week for 5 years, I decided to also train as a yoga teacher.
My husband who practised with BKS Iyengar in Bombay for many years often stressed the importance of yoga and advised me to find a qualified Iyengar Yoga teacher in London to learn yoga as a beginner and understand the basic 'asanas'.
Ten years ago I fell ill and was diagnosed with Graves disease (an autoimmune disease that effects the thyroid). I lost weight and my muscles were weak and always cramping. I went for blood tests every week and the doctors tried to balance my thyroid but was not fully successful (prescibing Carbamazole). Elaine (who overcome her thyroid problems with yoga) showed me postures that were good for my thyroid which I practised daily and eventually my thyroid was under control and I my doctor took me off Carbamazole.
My experiences with yoga would not have been so enjoyable if I did not have such an excellent teacher - Elaine. She is so encouraging, supporting and always has a smile on her face teaching with enthusiasm and energy.
I firmly believe that yoga practised with due concentration has benefited both my body, soul. & thyroid condition.
Expression of gratitude coming up: enjoyed this evening's class very much. My wife always expects me to come home after yoga thoroughly exhausted, and is always surprised to find me re-energised.
